wendy never would have guessed her first time hanging out with lalice, outside of work, would have been a sleepover, but, hey, what better way to christen a new dorm? she's got on her favorite pajamas: a soft, button-up cotton set that's been well loved over the years, her hair messily thrown in a bun atop her head, socks on her feet. there's food in the fridge, blankets stacked in a pile at the foot of her bed, movies waiting to be watched, games ready to be played. they're all set. yet there's still a knot of nervousness at the pit of her stomach, small, pale fingers fidgeting at the sleeves of her shirt. what if it isn't enough? what if she's boring? thankfully, there's reassurance to be found in the laughter in the younger girl's eyes, the gentle bump of her shoulders when her nerves are exposed, even just the hint of them.

"thank you for coming, lalice..." she said softly, shy as pushed small palms over the tops of her thighs, "i've been meaning to ask you out to dinner or... to watch a movie together, but schedule kept getting in the way." it was a weird thing to say for red velvet's house fairy. normally she had all the free time in the world, even if she spent most of it in the studio, regardless. these days, however, she had to cancel one appearance to make it to the next - it still felt odd. "anyway!" with a laugh and fingers pressed over a rouge few strands of hair, her eyes flittered from the bedroom door back to her company. "have you eaten? are you hungry? i could make something! you seemed excited last time we talked about cooking..."

It had been a long time since she'd slept outside of her dorm. It'd taken quite a bit of pleading and begging, but eventually Lalice managed to secure permission from one of her managers after he'd spoken with Red Velvet's own. As long as there were no boys... but their manager assured her own, and the right kind of permissions were granted, leaving both girls cheering by the end of negotiations. It was funny, this had been easier, she felt, before sh'd debuted, given the nights out she'd have with Sorn and the other Thai-line friends she'd made since coming to Korea. But that had been before people began recognizing them when they were out, so she couldn't exactly blame them. So, packed with her PJs and snacks and more, she'd arrived with a wide smile, and a ready heart. After all, she'd really been getting along with Wendy lately and she was looking forward to growing that feeling.

Now, laid out on the bed after they'd been playing games together, she felt totally at ease. Whatever nerves there'd been to see her friend had drained, and she easily bumped against her in the same way she would any of the other BlackPink girls, laughing. "Don't thank me. I really wanted to come! This... All this." her hands spread, gesturing to all the fun things that had been set up. "I feel... like happy. Just happy, you know?" Korean was still a struggle for her when she felt shy with the other person in person, but given the steadier flow of it, it was clear she was becoming more comfortable as time passed. "This is really amazing. I like spending time with you. I know how busy you are too... and your comeback. So before it hit, I wanted to spend a night and us just get to really get to know each other better? Let's eat! I want us both to cook. So I can make unni something tasty too, and heartfelt~" if anything, Lisa was good at making others feel happy, or so she hoped.
